Hummingbird New Mexico Creative Director Jane Carroll has more than 25 years of immersive media relations and publicity experience. She graduated cum laude in English from The Ohio State University and was hired by Ohio State immediately after. She spent a decade-and-a-half Supporting The College of Engineering, The Center for Automotive Research (CAR), The College of Arts and Sciences,  Libraries-Special Collections, the University Marching Band and numerous other areas, helping the university tell the world about the amazing programs, scientific discoveries, art innovations and student success stories of this world-class university. Jane also crafted compelling donor support proposals that helped bring in over $100,000,000 in private funding. The highlight of Jane's career at Ohio State was landing and executing a collaboration with Apple, Inc., showcasing the Ohio State Marching Band's use of the Apple iPad Air to choreograph their world-renowned halftime performances, resulting in the university's inclusion in Apple's "Your Verse" iPad Air promotional video that clocked hundreds of millions of impressions. Jane regularly assisted ESPN, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc. - and numerous tier one newspapers and social media professionals - as their "boots on the ground" full-service/concierge-level facilitator to help them create fun, impactful and engaging content. After catching the film bug during the Apple shoot, Jane now devotes the bulk of her time to film promotion and media planning to great effect. Jane has worked extensively with top-tier arts organizations, filmmakers, production houses, producers, directors and talent to help them promote their amazing art and stories to highlight their groundbreaking work.
